Dear Bruce,
Since I had been quite busy with my work and family matters, I did not get a chance to write you. Mary and I want to thank you for the wonderful and memorable vacation you arranged for us. All the flight, hotel and transfer plans were excellent and worked without any problems. You have done an excellent job.
If you have any future plans to visit Texas, USA, please contact us.

First of all let us thank you for arranging the most memorable trip for us in Africa. All of us had a great time and we really enjoyed it. The weather was perfect and the accommodation was excellent. We saw the “BIG FIVE “ . The trip was very smooth , no glitches. The food was great.
Cape Town had the best sea food and the all the meals at the lodges were nice too.
Victoria Falls was beautiful and the view from Zimbabwe is better than the one from Zambia. I would recommend that the tourists view it from both countries.
The guides at the game lodges took an extra effort to make sure that we saw the Big Five especially at the Kruger Park lodge.
We left with lots of good memories from that part of the world. Too bad we couldn’t see you on the day we left and if you come to USA any time please call us and we will be happy to show you around our state.
Once again thanks for a job well done
Best regards
Iype

The Quarters Hotel! What an amazing place!
It is an absolutely beautifully decorated hotel with only the best quality furnishing, all very modern with neutral tones and hues yet a touch of antiquity with silver stained mirrors and prints.
The beds are incredibly soft with goose down duvets and pillows, the swimming pool is surrounded with a glass balcony allowing you to enjoy the sun and the view at the same time, all the suites are private as it is a very small hotel with only 6 rooms per floor, each with a beautiful view of the sea, old harbour or the small streets of Hermanus it’s self and the staff are fantastic making you they’re biggest concern!
There is a restaurant at the hotel that serves the best breakfast in the morning, has an enchanting atmosphere at lunch and the most exciting vibe at night. If you wish for more variety then the waterfront is a mere 20 meters away with a vast selection of restaurants available. The museums are virtually on the doorstep as well as the trading posts and the waters of the bay sparkle at you from every angle!
The sights dazzle you, the excitement kills you and the beauty and history of the town truly awes you.
It is an amazing place and I could go on for hours to you so please let me know if you have any questions as I would be truly happy to answer them!
Then all that is left after that is for you to fall even deeper in love whilst you explore one of the gems of the False Bay coast line.
Please do not hesitate to contact me directly should you have any further question.
Warm Regards,
Robyn Ashdown

We have now been back for just over 2 weeks, busy washing and cleaning for Africa ! Anyway it's time to let you know that we had a wonderful time. We loved every minute of it. All camps you booked us in were very nice and well managed. We had one favourite though, Ngepi in the Caprivi Strip where we decided to spend an extra night, thus skipping Tsumeb. Everything blends with nature there and a lot of imagination has been used in the building of bathrooms for example. By separate mail, I am sending you a few specimens of some fun photos.
Chobe is fantastic. In all our travels in Africa over many many years, we had never seen such a large concentration of animals and birds when we took a 3-hour guided boat trip . And our camp site was by the river from where we could admire the beautiful sunsets and be charmed by the unique cry of the fish eagles.
Fom Mankwe Tented Camp, it took us 9 hours to do 285 kms ! We had to cross a temporary bridge made of logs floating in the water, then carry on deep sand tracks. (the bridge on the "main road" had collapsed in the floods caused by heavy rains in Angola in March). Anyway we were lucky not to get stuck at any time.
As I had mentioned, we had been in Namibia 20 years ago when it was still South West Africa. We had fallen in love with the country then and this time we fell in love again ! It's so vast and empty that you sometimes feel you are on a different planet. It's hard to describe the landscape that surrounds you when travelling from one place to the other. The roads are extremely well maintained, including the secondary roads, and the officials friendly and competent.
In all, we travelled a total of 8000 kms. On our way back we spent 3 nights in the Richterveld which is wonderful for its rock formations and unique flora.
I am sure I have wetted your appetite and hope that you will be able to visit all the wonderful places you booked for us.
